First Baptist Student Ministry exists to reach students for Jesus Christ by showing them God’s love, equipping them to exalt God through worship, training them to be true disciples through Bible study, enabling them to enjoy other believers through fun and fellowship and, finally, giving them a place to put their faith into practice as they work in mission and ministry situations.

Students (grades 7-12) enjoy Bible Study and social time with friends during weekly Sunday and Wednesday meetings. They rock with contemporary worship in our Student Worship time on Wednesday evenings, where they have the option of working together to lead worship in a Student Worship Team through media, music, and drama. Throughout the year they enjoy special events and trips, including retreats, camps, Escape Weekend and mission trips.

Sundays

9:30 AM Bible Fellowship
Grades 6-12 Get into God’s word and see how it applies to your life today. You can be changed forever by the word of God. We’ll show you how. Classes meet on the third floor of the Children and Youth Building from 9:30-10:30 Sunday mornings.

Wednesdays

6:30 PM Youth Group
Youth Room in the Family Life Center

Students, grade 7 through 12, enjoy Wednesday nights - for more than just fun. We are a highly interactive Student Ministry.  Every Wednesday is a new experience with lively, contemporary worship and Bible study to reach and teach you!  We’re being real with and about God - discovering what we’re here for and how to live in the real world. 

Did you know the answers to every situation you face in life are in the Bible?  This is a place to explore the Bible together with small groups, interactive lessons, multimedia and hands-on object lessons.

Christian living is fun! Christians experience joy and peace that those without faith cannot understand.  At First Baptist, students learn this joy through trips that are both fun and spiritually enriching: concerts, amusement parks, mission trips, summer camp, rock climbing, and much more.
